Are you Eligible for Compensation?If you are a Veteran, member or ex- member of the ADF, have an injury or illness causally related to your service, or you were discharged on medical grounds. You may be entitled to benefits you didn’t know about under the following acts: § VEA - Veterans’ Entitlement Act (Department of Veterans’ Affairs)
By looking at your service history our Pensions & Advocacy volunteers can advise you of your entitlement to benefits, even if you are not a current member of Defence Veterans Association Inc.

Reserves & Cadets
All members of the Australia Defence Force (ADF), including Reserves and Cadets, have compensation coverage under the provisions of the Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRCA) and post 1 July 2004 Military Rehabilitation & Compensation Act (MRCA), for injury arising out of, or in the course of, employment such as duty in the ADF, Reserves or Cadet Corps. This includes injury sustained while travelling between a member’s place of residence and place of employment, including Reserve parades, camps etc. |
