Volunteer Welfare, Pensions Case Officers and Advocates
Defence Veterans Association Inc. services are provided by ex-serving members who volunteer. Our volunteer’s have been appropriately trained and utilise systems and tools developed to provide the best possible level of representation. Given our military back grounds and varied exposures to service life. Our members easily identify and volunteer because they truly care for the welfare of and your loved ones. The Defence Veterans Association Inc. does not charge for this service and you do not have to be a member. That said membership does have its privileges, check out Membership Benefits here. Our Volunteer Officers have Pensions and Welfare training to the appropriate level required. We also offer access to advanced level Case Officers and Advocates should the need arise. These people are volunteers who have received training under the Training and Information Program (TIP). The Training and Information Program (TIP) provides training for members of the ex-service community as Pensions Officers, Welfare Officers, Case Officers and Advocates. We identify that we may not have all of the answers all of the time or provide every service. In recognition of this we actively seek out the best possible assistance and representation for our members. We are constantly building our network and our ultimate focus is on the best outcome via the best resource. Check out our Links page for easy access to these groups and agencies. |
